Objects The objects of the association shall
be promote and protect the interests of our members and to bring together in mutual friendship those who served their National
Service in the R.A.F. to establish and maintain links with the Royal Air Force and other like organisations. The annual membership
subscription is presently set at £5 payable to our Membership Secretary at any of our meetings when you will be issued
with a membership card. The good things include Branch
Subscriptions 2008. Meeting new friends, seeing old friend, great atmosphere, good food at a resonable price, excellent choice of beverages, wines and beers, great speakers on interesting range of topics. Branch members are reminded that annual subscriptions are now due. (1st January 2009) Any member whose annual subscription remains unpaid at 31st January in any year, will be deemed to have resigned from membership of the Association (per Constitution) and thereafter would not be entitled to receive a copy of the branch Newsletter and would be struck off the membership list. All subscriptions should be paid to Ron Abbot, Membership Secretary.As of 1st January 2009, the membership subscription
will be £5.00. per year. This increase was proposed and seconded at the AGM on 12th February 2007 and passed by an overwhelming
majority by the members. Bomber Command Memorial Appeal Could we ask that you consider a donation to this appeal for a lasting memorial to the men of Bomber Command Donations can be made to: Bomber Command Association, RAF Museum,Grahame Park, Hendon, London NW9 5LL Activities Visits to venues with RAF connections such as Cosford Air Show on 1st June this year and parade and reunion on 22nd June; this year we have made visits to Shawbury, Duxford, Lynham and the Cosford Cold War Museum. At our meetings we have speakers who cover a wide range of subjects. We also attend anniversaries and ceremonies such as Westminster Abbey commorating the Battle of Britain The Runnymede Commonwealth War Memorial with a visit planned to the Alrewas National Memorial site in the near future. Last year we were represented at The Cenotaph Remembrance Parade.
